Repose of the Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian.
Gospel of the talents is well-known to us. This day we should ask ourselves what we are doing with our God-given lives and our God-given gifts.
St. John the Theologian was one of the original twelve Apostles, and wrote the Gospel bearing his name; three canonical letters: I John, II John, and III John; and the Book of Revelation.

SSM Choir Slava
SSM Choir celebrates Slava on Oct. 9. Luncheon will be held following the Divine Liturgy, Pomen and cutting of Kolac in the Church Hall.

Christine Krcadinac will start giving folklore costumes. $50.00 deposit for every child is required. Please take good care of costumes.
Lifeline
Our Church with the humanitarian organization “LIFELINE” is organizing action to help children without parental care in Zvecanska Orphanage, Belgrade. Clothes needs to be packed and ready in our church on October 9th. Please send text to (847) 208-9937 (with your name and number of children you want to help).
